Asus has announced to give Burnt Warranty cover for two of its new motherboards, the P5G41-M and P5G41-M/LE. The Burnt Warranty which was first announced on the revolutionary P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard with Anti-surge technology will now also be available on these boards. The P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard was especially designed for Indian consumers keeping in mind the voltage fluctuation problem faced in India and going a step further, ASUS had started offering Burnt warranty on it.

Talking about this warranty policy now being offered on two new motherboards, Vinay Shetty - Country Head - Component Products, ASUS (India) said, "We received a tremendous response in India for the Burnt Warranty on the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard and hence extending this warranty to other motherboards in our portfolio was the next logical step. With this endeavor we want to further highlight to the Indian customers the damage that can occur to their motherboards due to power fluctuations which are common in our country. We hope customers can reap the benefit of this unique warranty policy and that it helps to further encourage the channel to 'Sell Right and Sell More'."

Under the burnt warranty policy of ASUS, if the onboard power section of any of the motherboards offering this warranty is burnt due to power fluctuation or external sources; the customer need not worry as the motherboard will be replaced or repaired by the company at no extra cost.
